From your personal bank account, send your contribution by Interac e-Transfer to campaign@providentiward1.com.
Include your name & address
In the transfer's message field, include your full name and home address. If the field is too short, send them in a quick email to the same address — Ontario law doesn't allow the campaign to accept a donation it can't attribute.
Receive your receipt
The campaign issues a receipt for every contribution. Please note it is a campaign receipt, not a tax receipt.

The rules, in plain language.
Individuals in Ontario only
Contributions may only come from individuals who live in Ontario, given from their own personal funds. Corporations, businesses and trade unions cannot contribute.
Contribution limits
You may give up to $1,200 to this campaign, and no more than $5,000 in total to all candidates running for Windsor City Council.
Why e-transfer works
Contributions over $25 can't be made in cash — they must come by cheque, money order or a method that clearly shows where the funds came from. An e-transfer from your own account qualifies.
No anonymous donations
The campaign must be able to identify every contributor. Contributions totalling more than $100 are listed, with the contributor's name and address, in the campaign's financial statement filed with the City of Windsor.
Not tax deductible
Municipal campaign contributions do not qualify for a federal or provincial income-tax credit, and the City of Windsor does not offer a contribution rebate program.
